I just got home on Saturday from a long fall semester at the Mount and I am grateful to the Lord for getting me through it successfully. As much as I would like to do nothing all Christmas break, I want to strive for excellence even in my down time. This time last year, I began writing “mock articles” four of which got published out of the eight that I initially wrote. I hope to do the same thing this time around. As I slowly but surely get myself mentally prepared for my last five months as an undergraduate student, there are a few things that I have to consider
- What’s the next step?
- What do I want to do as a post-grad?
- What grad schools am I applying to?
- How can I continue to improve?
I may not have the answers to all of these questions just yet, but at least I am starting to think about them right? Prayerfully I am seeking the Lord for answers, and depending on the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to lead guide and direct me in the way that He would have me to go. One thing that has been very evident in my life is the sufficient grace of the Lord; I know that if I do my part, God will take care of everything that I can’t.
